Third grade is an exciting time where students discover chapter books. Students are reading War with Grandpa by Robert Kimmel Smith. It is a book that highlights, importance of relationships, compromise and understanding and respect for elders. When students are done with this book they will be able to relate to the topic and themes being studied to build knowledge and vocabulary. The City of Troy is excited to share progress on several recent projects. The gazebos at the Troy RV Park have been installed, along with a new irrigation system, enhancing the park's amenities. New restrooms are scheduled for delivery in late spring, further improving the park's aesthetics and usability.

Additionally, Phase One of the Child Pedestrian Safety Route is nearing completion, with Phase Two expected to begin by mid-summer or later. These projects were made possible thanks to grants awarded to the City of Troy, helping us continue to grow and improve our community! The funding was generously provided by the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC) and the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, whose support plays a vital role in enhancing our town's infrastructure and recreational spaces.
