UPDATED WATER RESTRICTIONS
Big Meadow Well has been restored, however, the possibility of a water shortage remains critical due to the continued drought conditions faced across the region. It is, therefore, necessary to maintain several restrictions and conservation efforts in order to mitigate the effect of the drought conditions and most importantly to ensure that the City and its residents continue to have a reliable, resilient, and sustainable water supply. Here are the current water conservation measures that are in effect:
Residents are advised to minimize all water usage; however, some outdoor watering, including watering of lawns, gardens, and washing of cars, is permitted between the hours of 8 PM - 8 AM.
Residents with odd-numbered addresses to water on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Residents with even-numbered addresses to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
No outdoor watering of any kind is permitted by any resident on Sundays.
Bulk water sales for commercial purposes are still suspended until further notice.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding! These current conservation measures are necessary and will remain in effect until the water shortage concerns are no longer critical.
