LIBRARY NEWS: November is here; the season of thankfulness, family, friends, and food.We have some fun things planned at the Troy Community Library this month. Idaho Family Reading Week (FRW) is in November, families are encouraged to read together and visit their local libraries.
To celebrate FRW, we will have a fun Family Storytelling Night on November 19th, 5-7 pm, with special guest Patrick Mitchell. Get ready to listen, laugh, and learn how to enhance and celebrate your families’ stories. Free pizza will be served at 5 pm. November’s in-person STEAM activity is Lego animals. This month’s activity is an in-person program at the library on November 13, 4-5 pm. We will learn about different animals, where they live, and their unique characteristics that help them survive in their habitat. You will fall to pieces for this fun activity. This activity is geared towards kids that are 6-11 years old.
Join us for storytime this November at a new time. Storytime is still on Thursdays but we will now meet at 11 am, per patron requests and feedback. There will be no Storytime on November 28th because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Storytime is geared towards children 0-5 years old.
If you have questions about anything happening at the library this month, please call Michelle Sturdy at 208-835-4311 or email troy@latahlibrary.org
