Throughout the month of April, you can buy book sale items with cans of food. The book sale at the library runs through the Friends of the Troy Community Library. One can of food equals $1, so if an item costs $1 you can buy it for one can of food. All canned food items will be donated to the Troy Food Bank.

The Seed Library is once again available to Troy Community Library patrons and is in need of seeds. If you have any extra seeds, please consider donating them to the Seed Library. If you are in need of seeds, stop and see what is available. All seeds are free.

The April STEAM Take-away Activity is Bob Ross paint-with-water pages. It will be available April 14, 2021. Get ready to paint some “happy little trees” and have some artistic “happy accidents”. The STEAM activities are geared towards grade school-age kiddos.

Supplies are limited for all take-home crafts/activities; they are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me...” – Matthew 25:35

Dear Community Members,

To honor Jesus Christ during this Easter season, the local congregations of the Seventh-day Adventists, Lutherans, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are collaborating on a food drive to support our local Adventist Community Services (ACS) food banks. Any non-perishable food or personal hygiene items you can contribute would be appreciated. Thank you so much for your donation and for helping to build unity and love between neighbors in our community.

INSTRUCTIONS: Please leave a bag or box of non-perishable food or hygiene items outside your front door on

Saturday, April 17th. Volunteers will drive by between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to pick up the donations.

NEED A REMINDER? E-mail and we will reply with a reminder 2 days before the pickup. Please put “Food Drive Reminder” in the subject line. Your e-mail addresses will not be retained, and the email address above will be deactivated after the drive.
