Mayor's Youth Advisory Council
Are you a high school student interested in
having your voice heard?
If so, then the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is the place for you!
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is a voice for the youth of Troy, dedicated to serving and bettering our community.
The MYAC aims to provide a venue for a group of young leaders who, through research, peer discussion, and community engagement, provide a youth perspective to the City of Troy. By serving on the MYAC, participants learn about municipal government through engagement with the City of Troy and are provided the opportunity to gain leadership experience in their community.
MYAC is a volunteer youth advisory committee dedicated to helping with issues that local teens face throughout our community. Residency in the City of Troy is not required - we want all youth and their friends to join. Youth grades 9-12 are welcome to become a MYAC member to gain skills, experience, and confidence.
